BRANDS ARE MY BUSINESS
I’ve had the honor of working with some of the top brands in business, including global pharmaceutical companies like Alcon, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Otsuka/Lundbeck, Gilead, and Merck, as well as several tech powerhouses such as CenturyLink (now Lumen), CDW, Presidio, WWT, AWS, Rubrik, and HPE along with freelance clients Luminopia, Cuna Mutual, GCE Lab Schools, A Safe Haven Foundation, Kaplan Publishing, Bang & Olufsen, Jim Beam Brands, and many more.
FICTION WRITING & ART FOR FUN
Currently, I’m having a great time writing middle-grade and young-adult fiction; making artwork out of nature I find on walks (whimsycity.com), and teaching myself how to illustrate children’s picture books. My past essays have appeared in literary journals, on Chicago Public Radio WBEZ, Radio M, and my plays have been performed on stages in Chicago and New York. I was also awarded a Richard H. Driehaus grant and won Fine Print Theatre’s Citizens’ Play Festival.
WITH A LITTLE PHILANTHROPY THROWN IN
After running a children’s theatrical outreach program in Chicago’s underserved Lawndale community for children ages 9-14, I co-founded the STOP TRAFFICK Organization, working with Malia Designs. Although I’ve stepped away from Stop Traffick, the mission continues. To date, the charity has donated over $185,000 to organizations that fight human trafficking in Cambodia and the US.
